Camping
There are four developed campgrounds with a total of 147 individual campsites and two group camps -- each with fire ring, table, cupboard and nearby restroom with shower and laundry tubs. Two sites in Cole Creek Campground are set aside for campers who arrive on foot or bicycle. A trailer and RV sanitation station is available near the Visitor Center, but none of the campsites have RV hookups.
Cole
Creek Campground
This campground is located in the shade of tall valley oaks and cottonwoods next to a lovely open meadow, contains restroom and showers, and 26 camp units which are flat and suitable for tents, trailers or motor homes up to 21 feet long.
Kelsey
Creek Campground
This campground has restrooms and showers, and 65 campsites, several of which are right on the shoreline. All campsites are within easy walking distance of beautiful lake views. Each site will accommodate a tent or RV up to 34 feet long. Campers with lakeside sites may pull their boats onto the adjacent beach. However, boats may not be moored overnight in the Kelsey Slough.
Lower Bayview & Upper Bayview Campgrounds
These
are located in oak woodlands. Some of the
campsites have excellent lake views and others are located under big oak
trees. Several sites can
accommodate trailers or motor homes up to 21 feet long.
All 54 campsites have a flat area for a tent.
The shower facilities are in Upper Bayview while there are
restrooms in both campgrounds. These
are campgrounds for those who want to "get away from it all."
Group Camping
There are two group camps that can accommodate 40 people. It is a level grassy area on the bank of Cole Creek with an adjacent paved parking area that is suitable for self-contained RV's. This area contains picnic tables, barbecue stoves and campfire rings, and is ADA accessible.
ADA Sites are wheelchair accessible, with the picnic table designed for wheelchair height. They are in campgrounds with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and showers.
