It is our mission to assist the Department of Parks and Recreation in providing public education about the valuable and important natural and cultural resources located in Clear Lake State Park and the surrounding area, promoting the importance of a strong environmental ethic and raising funds to achieve these goals. Willing volunteers are vital to our success.
Fall sights are abundant in our beautiful park right now! There are different birds to be seen and the foliage is showing signs of fatigue. An early morning stroll through the park will get your blood circulating (brisk temperatures), provide you with some new perspectives to think about. You might see an animal that you haven't seen before as they venture out in the cooler weather. The lake is looking very nice, with plenty of water lapping the beach and lots of Grebes to be seen close to the shore. Don't miss an opportunity to appreciate our 'jewel'!
